Find Out More About How Country Host Homes Ireland Works
How We Work
To find out more about how we work, follow-ups throughout your child’s stay, and our host families, please read more below. If you have any queries on how we work, please feel free to contact us any time.
How We Work
When a student is interested in travelling to Ireland, they will need to fill out the forms below, detailing their names, age, interests, schooling achievements and their hopes of what they would like to achieve during their stay in Ireland.
After this we contact the host families and see who is interested and available to host the student. The interested host families’ details will be forwarded to the student’s family and they can make an informed decision on which family they would like to stay with.
This method ensure that all parties choose who they think would be a good fit and ensure a happy and successful stay for the student.

Follow-Up Throughout the Stay
We will be visiting with the student within the first couple of weeks to establish whether they are settling in well within their new surroundings and host family.
If there are any issues, we have a policy to resolve and issues that may arise. The host family will provide a monthly report on the progress of the student and the student will also provide a monthly update on their Irish living.

Host Families
Every host family with Country Host Homes Ireland undergoes Garda (Police) vetting before being listed. We prioritise a personal connection with each host family, conducting home visits to inspect student accommodations and ensure they meet our rigorous standards.
Drawing on years of experience hosting international students, we understand the needs of both students and their families, as well as those of our host families. Our expertise extends to facilitating seamless integration for students into Irish family life, with continuous support and guidance readily available to both students and host families.
