About Us
Country Host Homes Ireland, founded in 2023 by Michelle Gerrity and Aisling McLoughlin, brings together the extensive experience of both individuals as host mothers to international students, coupled with their roles as parents to their own children.
About Michelle Gerrity and Aisling McLoughlin
Country Host Homes Ireland was established in 2023 by Michelle Gerrity and Aisling McLoughlin. Both Michelle and Aisling have years of experience as host mothers to international students as well as having their own children.
We felt very strongly about making a welcoming, loving home for each and every student that they hosted as well as integrating the students into their own families. They felt that they could create a more personal experience for the international students by placing them into the correct host homes based on the interests of the students and well as the interests of the host families.
Our aim is to ensure that every student is placed in the perfect host home with the perfect host family. We have a very hands-on approach with each host home, with them being visited by us and we will not enrol a host home that does not pass our very high standards.
We want to make this experience more affordable to all families of students interested in improving their English while providing the best service to all our students.
